Australian mother-of-one Juliette Alexander runs Pastiche and Lovelinks by Pastiche in the UAE; a leading manufacturer of Sterling silver jewellery including a range of silver charms, murano glass and Swarovski crystal interchangeable jewellery.

My background..

I’m from Australia, where I owned and managed travel agencies. My husband moved to Dubai six years ago. I managed and taught in nursery schools when I first arrived, but was given the opportunity to buy the Lovelinks franchise in the UAE from a friend who was leaving three years ago. I fell in love with the jewellery immediately and wanted to work for myself, so I took over the business and developed it.

Pastiche jewellery is skillfully crafted using only the finest materials and excellent workmanship. Its collections are bold and elegant made with a vision to excite and inspire you.

Lovelinks jewellery is based on bespoke charm bracelets and necklaces. The jewellery is sterling silver, Murano glass, and Swarovski crystal. The idea is to buy a bracelet or necklace and then add beads and silver charms to create something totally personal and unique. We also offer jewellery for children, where they can create their own pieces, and have a range for men where every design is different.

The company is owned by Pastiche. It was founded in Denmark, but is now based in Australia, so I import everything from there. Lovelinks is an established company with products sold in nine countries worldwide (including USA, New Zealand, Singapore, and the UK) and I am the sole UAE distributor.

We sell our jewellery through a kiosk in Gold and Diamond Park and directly from my showroom. We offer a personalised service and go to private events, businesses, coffee mornings, evening parties, school fairs and even to an individual’s home when necessary.

I am looking for..

We’re looking to expand in the region. After Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha would be of interest. The business is booming and we’re now putting a network system in place to support our growth. We’re looking for partnerships with retailers (jewellery shops or fashion boutiques) that could stock and sell Lovelinks.

We’re also looking for individuals in strategic geographical areas of the UAE for supporting and expanding our network by becoming Lovelinks agents.
