I grew up in Somerset in the UK with my Mum and my sister, however I spent many years coming out to Dubai to visit my Dad. He lived here for 15 years and I feel like Dubai is my second home. After I graduated from university with a first-class degree in Fashion Promotion, I moved over to Dubai full-time.
My business..
After spending months planning my own wedding, I realised there was no easy way to find information on weddings in the UAE – it can be a struggle and even overwhelming sometimes. I launched my blog – www.mylovelywedding.com – in June 2012, after becoming an avid reader of wedding blogs in the US and UK. It was designed for expat brides-to-be getting married in the UAE. The blog also helps those who are arranging weddings overseas, by providing ideas, inspiration and wedding industry contacts.
I am looking for..
I’m looking to work with individuals and companies in the wedding industry, such as photographers, cake designers, and stationery designers. I’d also like to help smaller companies and freelancers get noticed in the wedding industry.
