The Ing Creatives Festival will take place April 11th-13th, 2018.

Superstar photographers, designers and Hollywood artists from across the globe will descend on Dubai for the biggest festival of its kind the city has ever seen.

Major players from Disney, DreamWorks, National Geographic, and Facebook will all reveal the secrets of their success in a series of workshops and talks as part of -ing Festival next month.

A-list speakers will include Karen Kasmauski, Pulitzer Prize-nominated with National Geographic; Seb Lester, calligrapher, who has designed custom-made fonts for NASA missions, Olympic games and Apple; and Tron Mai, the DreamWorks animator behind some of this decade’s biggest animation box office hits, including King Fu Panda 2 and Rapunzel.

In total, 20 speakers will host more than 50 workshops over three packed days. A sprawling ‘creators market’ will allow attendees to shop for original artwork, clothing, jewellery, books and gifts made by the 50 talented international artists at the market.

We are helping grow the iconic designers of tomorrow, and inspiring a national shift – from consumers to creators.”

Other guests will include:

  • Jessica Walsh, graphic designer to the stars.
  • Wissam Shawkat, the Arab world’s most successful calligrapher
  • Tony Bonilla, Disney animator whose films include Zootopia, Moana
  • Ramsey Naja, middle east’s advertising icon
  • Cat Audi, senior product designer with Facebook

Their workshops will offer the secrets of how to succeed as a creative. Sessions will tackle diverse subjects such as Arabic, Latin, and Japanese Calligraphy and typography, and Storytelling like National Geographic or DreamWorks, and Branding yourself on Instagram and Facebook, among many others.

It will be the fourth year the festival has been held. More than 1,500 people are expected to attend.
