My background..
I’m Turkish, but have been living in Dubai for over 10 years. I have a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Hospitality Management from New York Institute of Technology. My career background is in hospitality, working in renowned five-star hotel properties worldwide and at an international event management company.
My first entrepreneurial experience was from 2005 to 2008 with Cafe Barbera Franchise, Crown Plaza Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, owning a percentage of the business and managing its day-to-day operation. I opened its second branch in the DIFC.
My business..
I established Theanjelique.com in 2011 – an online boutique headquartered in Dubai. The website brings together carefully selected unique products (mainly handmade) from all around the world, whilst having a close watch on Istanbul’s vibrant fashion scene.
Our products are 70% from Turkey and 30% from other parts of the world. We sell shoes, bags, accessories, and homeware – all products and designer brands that are not yet known or available to the region. This makes our life more difficult of course, but we want to be different !
I am looking for..
Firstly, we are looking for a PR to help us promote the business. We want as many people as possible to know about Theanjelique.com. We want to reach out to the Gulf Region within UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, increasing our presence on Facebook and Twitter.
We’re also looking to reach out to local fashion designers whose collections can be sold thorough our online boutique.
