We are looking for a Bid and Marketing Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end bid and tender process, from the coordination of bids to the creation of marketing material and presentations, and the organisation of local events, this role will provide invaluable support to our busy office.
As a newly created role, you will need to work closely with the UK marketing team and the Abu Dhabi Office Manager to shape the role. Suggesting processes and ways of working together, you will help to get the most from the team’s business development and marketing efforts. You will be a good ‘all-rounder’ with a cheerful & positive disposition with an adaptable and willing attitude towards their working day. There will also be occasional travel.

About You
You will have a Marketing related degree, or similar. You will have experience in a similar role, a can do approach, and be as comfortable taking direction and getting involved with the team as you will be organising your own workload and seeking out new information yourself.
You will have an understanding of the bid and tender process with a background in bid coordination/management and/or marketing experience. Previous examples of dealing with pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) is preferable. You will also be expected to manage and coordinate our local Communication feeds (website/twitter/LinkedIn) to develop our brand and win new work opportunities with architects and developers.
You will need a friendly and affable personality with a positive and dynamic approach and will know your way around Microsoft Office, to keep up with all of the material you’ll be producing. A creative eye and some graphic design experience would be ideal as would InDesign and/or Desktop Publishing experience. The ability to put good copy together and create great written material are an absolute must. You’ll obviously be a good communicator, able to talk to clients, colleagues and suppliers in a positive and productive way.
