Spending many hours in front of your laptop and thinking of giving your workstation a facelift?

We just went through this idea on the web and this activity looks slightly tedious but technically easy to handle for DIY lovers.

What you will need:

Approx. 8 different washi tapes of various colors (available at Kinokuniya in Dubai Mall)

Directions :

  • Clean the keyboard to remove any dirt or oil that might keep the tape from sticking.

  • Create a template from cardboard to more easily cut the length of tape needed for each key.

  • Snip off the corners to keep them from snagging and peeling off the keys. Washi tape is similar to masking tape or blue painters’ tape in that it is easy to stick and re-stick in case you don’t get the placement perfect each time.

  • If you are worried about seeing the letters through the tape, just make sure you don’t choose dark tape.
