Marketing Division: Sony Music Middle East has established a new business and marketing division and identified a key role in this fast growing area of the business. Marketing at Sony is focused around the key priority single and album releases, and ensuring they are promoting extensively across digital and radio/broadcast/print platforms. Your responsibilities are to lead these promotions across a primarily digital and social media landscape, whilst ensuring Sony ME label continues to be seen as an industry leader. The marketing team also works closely with the new business team and digital division to develop new products, services and creative partner campaigns.

The Role:

As the Marketing Manager, you bring to the role experience in digital campaign planning and delivery (particularly building social media following and engagement) as well as ability to work creatively with radio stations and other media partners to develop campaign promotions and other creative solutions that help promote our talent. Knowledge of download and streaming digital music platforms, and how to scale marketing activities alongside revenue is also critical. You should be a proven multi-tasker with a key eye for detail that is able to drive and improve the reputation of our talent and business across all media formats in UAE and wider Middle East. A love of music, passion for marketing innovation and experience across on and offline formats is essential. Role will report into the Senior New business Manager in the short term, and as the business grows reporting structure may change.

Key Duties
•Prepare weekly release schedules and priority release campaign plans and budgets
•Develop digital strategy and Sony social platforms and other communication channels
•Build close, weekly, relationships with all key national radio stations, to prioritize Sony artists, realize international fan competitions, and run added-value promotions
•Report on campaign performances, coverage and other marketing activities on a weekly basis.
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with top digital partners and leading radio stations
•Define, analyze and communicate key metrics for management and partners.
•Communicate key campaign metrics and develop account plans for presentation to Sony Music management

Core Competencies
•Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media and regional campaign development
•Technical knowledge of core media channels and platforms
•Related work experience, including digital, media or music organizations
•Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
•Highly organized and creative in approach to marketing solutions
•Arabic language essential

Minimum Qualifications
•BA/BS degree (ideally in marketing or media)
