My background..

I’m from Melbourne, Australia, and landed in Dubai at the tender age of 21. I was on my own, with not much more than the dream to succeed in something! Dubai has been great to me ever since. I climbed the corporate ladder and reached the position of General Manager by the age of 25. I’ve now set up my own party planning and events company – Special Occasions Party Planning & Events.

My business..

Special Occasions Party Planning & Events started as a spur of the moment idea back in 2010. People were constantly asking me to assist with their upcoming parties and occasions, and for advice about venues – so I thought, why not start my own company? And that’s exactly what I did!  What started as an idea has grown into a successful business, but not without a lot of hard work on the way!

As a business, we understand the needs of public and private organisations.  As parents and family members, we understand the need to schedule special time away from other events happening in our lives.

We offer party planning and event organising services, from small scale to elite, with each event tailor made to suit you and your special day or occasion. We cover adult and children’s birthday parties, weddings, corporate staff parties, family fun days, baby showers, bachelorette parties – and everything in between!

I am looking for..

I’m looking for a financial investor so that we can secure a private or shared office. Any other assistance in growing the business would also be much appreciated. And I’d also like more hours in the day – does that count?!
